New Horizons will be hosting a campus cleanup on Wednesday, April 22, Earth Day. The club wants to improve the look of the campus and help to make a friendlier, more inviting environment. Several other clubs and organizations will be helping with the campus cleanup such as SGA, ACT and others. New Horizons wants to encourage all students to come out and help with the campus cleanup.
New Horizons hosted bake sales during the week of St. Patrick's Day to raise money for equipment to be used in the cleanup. These bake sales were very popular and the food was delicious, especially the green banana cream pie. Some of the money they raised will be used to host a pizza party later that week to thank all those who come out to help. So what will you be doing on April 22 after class gets out? Go home? Or head outside to help out your community, and recieving a free meal out of the deal.
