UW-Waukesha a base for transfer success

The Guaranteed Transfer Program is an excellent opportunity for UWWaukesha students to gain entry to the UW four-year school of their choice. To participate in the Guaranteed Transfer Program prior to the start of your sophomore year students need 30 credits. The selected four - year school can be changed at any time before the student reaches 30 credits.
UW Colleges students participating in the Guaranteed Transfer Program must apply to the intended UW four - year school must meet the same criteria for admission to specific majors and programs as continuing students. The guarantee of admission applies to the campus and not to a specific program or major the students is interested in.
Students looking to transfer need a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. For UW-Madison a 2.6 GPA is required to transfer.
Students who have faced academic difficulties in the past can start over on a path that can provide them with a future in a field interests them. Campus academic advisors are more than happy to help students pursue all available options for their academic success.
