Need a place to go relax and forget about homework and the stress of school? Everyone needs a little break. We all need time to get away, sit back, relax, and enjoy an entertaining film put on by UW - Waukesha's own Film Club.
Professor Damon Schneider, an English Professor at UW - Waukesha, not only teaches but also finds time to contribute by being the Film Club advisor. Schneider encourages anyone and everyone to come and join the Film Club, which meets on Thursdays at noon, in room L013.
The upcoming film that will be featured is called, "Field Film Fest," which will be held in the Lunt-Fontanine Theater on Sat. Feb. 6, from 5 p.m. until midnight. Admission for everyone, including students, is $5. Schneider explained, "All money raised from the film will go toward making future films and buying more film equipment."
Schneider continued, "There will be 'VIP' tours of the Video and the Audio Studios." Schneider added that, "Everyone can watch the promo video for the Film Field Fest if they go to Youtube.com and type 'Film Field Fest' into the search engine." Schneider concluded, "The Film Club has a very active Facebook account. To reach their Facebook page, search 'UW - Waukesha Film Club'."
Come support UW - Waukesha and the Film Club by showing up on Feb. 6. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
